Accessibility Statement

The Szallas Group Zrt. (hereinafter: Service Provider) is committed to helping travelers find suitable accommodation. We are continuously improving our digital experiences and systems for our wide travel community, including people with disabilities. Our primary goal is to make the accommodation booking process as comfortable and simple as possible. You can view our Terms of Use here. We develop our Website and Application in this spirit: we design our digital interfaces to be accessible and usable for as many people as possible.

The Service Provider carries out the accessibility of its digital platforms in accordance with the AA level of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 standard, as well as the guidelines of Act XVII of 2022 and the EU technical standard (EN 301 549).

This statement presents the current accessibility status of the Website and Application, and the identified inaccessible content elements.

Compliance Status

Our Website and Application partially comply with the WCAG 2.1 AA level requirements based on our internal audit. Many of our interfaces are already well usable with assistive technologies, but currently there may still be elements or functions that do not provide full accessibility for all users. We are continuously working to improve this and to ensure that our users' accommodation booking experience is maximally positive.

This statement does not apply to elements that are not fully under the control of the service provider, such as archived content, embedded elements from third parties (e.g., videos, maps), links to external websites, documents from partners or users. The accessibility of these cannot always be ensured.

Inaccessible content

The Website and Application currently contain elements that are not fully accessible. We are not currently providing detailed descriptions or examples, only referring to the partial fulfillment of the WCAG standard. We are continuously working on uncovering more detailed explanations and supporting examples. Based on our current assessment, the following problems may occur:

  • The main menu and some filters do not work properly using only the keyboard.
  • Some images are missing or have inappropriate alternative text (e.g., campaign banners, gallery photos).
  • Some functions may not be fully compatible with screen reader assistive technologies.
  • It may not be visible which element is in focus.
  • There may be pages where the content traversal order is not logical.
  • Some colored buttons and texts are not sufficiently contrasting.
  • Some clickable elements may be too small.
  • Content magnification may affect certain functions.
  • Form fields may not have clear labels, or the visually displayed text may not match the information conveyed by the screen reader.
  • PDF documents generated during booking (e.g., payment receipt, program coupon) are not always accessible. We are continuously working on improving them.
