Tótvázsony, which has got approx. 1200 inhabitants, is situated at the southern feet of the Bakony mountains. The distance of the village from Lake Balaton and from the county seat, Veszprém is about the same (13 km). For those people who want to bathe in the lake is Tótvázsony near enough to reach Lake Balaton within a short time. For those, however, who would rahter like to relax is the village far enough not to be bothered by the crowd of tourists. The valley of the Bakony attract the lovers of the excursions. Also the cyclists have the possibility to pedal around at the shore of the lake or in the villages surrounding Tótvázsony.
