The renovated apartment is located on the ground floor of a small apartment building with a garden, on the outskirts of the city, in a quiet and peaceful environment. Its west-facing terrace overlooks a meadow. A lily tree provides shade on the terrace during the day, and in the evening it is illuminated by the warm light of the setting sun. The two spacious bedrooms, comfortable living room, well-equipped dining-kitchen, clean bathroom satisfy all needs.
The world's largest biologically active, natural thermal lake can be reached with a 20-minute walk or a 5 minute drive. Thanks to the abundant yield of the medicinal spring feeding the lake, its water is completely replaced within 72 hours. The water temperature is 23-25 ​​°C in winter and 33-36 °C in summer and it is in constant flow which gives a sensation of massaging effect on bathers. In autumn and winter, the steam forms a vapour cap on the surface of the lake becomes a kind of natural inhalatorium.
Many medical and aesthetic treatments are available in the city. The pedestrian street is lined with villas built in the 1920s, which have been renovated and now house cafes.
On several days of the week, the Hévíz farmers' market evokes the atmosphere of the old days, where artisans sell their wares in addition to the products of honey producers, pickle and fruit juice makers, and cheese and vegetable sellers.
The Egregy district of Hévíz is known for its gastronomy. It is a 25-minute walk from the apartment to the wine cellars. In the evenings, the wine bars and restaurants built among the rows of grapes are full, where guests can taste dishes from international cuisines in addition to traditional Hungarian cuisine.
Keszthely can be reached by car in 12 minutes, by bicycle on a forest road in half an hour.
