The Baroque Hostel is a newly renovated accomodation in the heart of Budapest! The flat was previously owned by a Baron's family and we preserved the original baroque-bohemian style with a fresh, modern, minimalist design. We offer quality hospitality in a youthful environment at hostel rates.

Baroque Hostel is located near the city park (Városliget), where you can find some of Budapest's most famous sights: Hero's Square, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Art Hall, the Szechenyi Thermal Baths, and the Skating Rink. A short walk from the hostel you will find many typical Hungarian pubs and restaurants at affordable prices.

"A személyzet nagyon segítőkész."

"A földszinti 2 ágyas szoba volt az enyém. Az esti pihenést-alvást nagyon nehezen lehetett megoldani , mert az ablak alatt az udvaron van a dohányzó, ahol még este 23 órakor is beszélgettek , és zárt ablaknál is be lehetett hallani. A dohányzás után mentek fel a szobájukba, és a lépcső a szoba fölött helyezkedik el. Nagyon hangos."

"a személyzet kedves, segítőkész, a belváros szívében található a szállás. A reggeli bőséges, finom."

"Én egy 5 ágyas szobát rendeltem, ehelyett ebből egy emeletes ágy ,1 pótágy és két raklap fogadott, amin matrac volt. A bútorok kopottak voltak, a szoba falán több 20tf-os nagyságú lyuk tátongott. Az interneten jelenleg látható képek nem fedik a valóságot."

"Borsod megyében egy munkásszálló igényesebb, mint ez a Városliget(!) melletti, túlárazott hajléktalanszálló. Az oldalon szereplő képek nem aktuálisak, NEM fedik a valóságot. A szallas.hu tájékoztatása szerint magyar nyelvet is beszélnek, de a recepciós nem tud magyarul. A 4 fős "Studio apartmannak" nevezett valami inkább egy ijesztő pincére hasonlít, ahová nem tudtunk lámpa nélkül bejutni, de a recepcióig vezető út sem túl bizalomgerjesztő, mondhatni olyan, ami az első perctől azt ordítja, hogy "fordulj vissza, amíg lehet!". Saját parkoló híján a környéken érvágás helyet találni, de legalább hétvégén ingyenes. A szobán belül: a padló sok helyen hullámos volt, maga az egész szoba viseltes, itt-ott rohadásnak indult állapotot tükrözött. A wc tartályából a víz erősen folyt a földre. A bezárhatatlan, nyikorgó fürdőszoba ajtón a lélek tartott egy tükröt. A zuhanyzó mocskos, de extrémen. Reggelre a vakolat magától lepergett a falról az ágy mellett. Hideg volt a szobában mindenhol, mert a bekészített elektromos radiátor nem tudta felfűteni. (Mellékes, de a TV-ben is csak 4 csatorna volt elérhető.) Reggeli ugyan benne van az árban, csak senki, sehol nem említi, hogy nem a szálláshelyen (ahogy az a promó képeken látható), hanem 150 méterre egy másik utcában, egy szintén kívülről sem bizalomgerjesztő, lepukkant, iskolamenza-szerű helyen, ahol úgy szolgálnak fel (tea ízű?) "Bruscettát" a tablettás narancslé mellé, hogy azt sem tudják, mi az. A reggeli nem svédasztalos, néhány dolgot lehet kérni előző nap, már ha odaadja a recepciós a papírt, amit ki kell tölteni. Mi másnap reggel szembesültünk vele, hogy mivel nem töltöttük ki a papírt, így esélyes, hogy már reggelit sem kapunk. Aztán nem tudom, hogy "szerencsére"-e, de végül ettünk valamit. (Ahogy hallottam, mások sem voltak elragadtatva körülöttünk.) Tájékoztatásul kiírták a weboldalra, hogy ágyi poloskáért nem vállalnak felelősséget, mert szerintük ez alap. Szerintem pedig normális esetben nem fordulhat elő egy magára valamit is adó, kicsit is igényes helyen. Ez nem az, de meg sem közelíti..."
