Boros Kastély Fonyód

You will find the Boros Kastely nestled in a beautiful and natural landscape, south of the famous seaside resort of Fonyód. Built by the dynasty of the Counts Zichy, at the end of the 19th century, it went through an eventful history until it finally came in to the possession of the Baros family, who renovated it with passion and great attention to detail and turned into a gem of hospitality. The lounge on the groundfloor is furnished with antique furniture, wool-heated tile stoveand many other rarities. The bdrooms and bathrooms are located in the two upper floors and meet the highest standard. The rooms are spacious and bright. Some rooms have a private big terrace, where you can enjoy the warm sunshine, the chirping of birds and the majestic view of the surroundings. The huge plot is spread over 30 ha and offers plenty of space for recreational activities. The 75 m² pool in front of the castle and the children's playground right next to it are a delight for the young guests. The adults are also well cared for - a barbecue where you can spend many cosy hours with good wine, cold beer and delicious food! There are several shaded corners where you can relax with a book. You can also spend time on the other part of the plot, which is a nature reserve with reeds and grass, and admire the natural beauty. The castle provides an ideal starting point for excursions on foot or by bicycle. The famous thermal baths in Csisztapuszta is just 4.5 km away and the Lake Balaton is located only 2 km away from the property. Throughout the house you have access to free wireless internet connection. You can order breakfast and other meals for a surcharge. You can also organise parties and other events here (weddings, anniversaries, company parties). Also, hunting parties (organization incl.) and motorcycle clubs are welcome. The castle can be rented for two days at time. Extra beds for up to 30 people can be provided. The owner, who lives in the annex, is of course, always willing to offer advice and assistance. During the heating season from 1 th October to 30th April, the guest house calculates an extra cost of HUF 50,000 per day, which must be paid upon arrival at the accommodation together with the tourist tax and the security deposit.
