Far away from noisy towns, hidden in the Zemplén Hills Hotel Ezüstfenyő awaits its explorers continuously, reviving the atmosphere of the long-ago Károlyi hunting mansion.

Telkibánya is situated between the Northern mounds of the Zemplén Hills; from its mines gold and silver were exploited during centuries. The roots of the ’magical’ reputation of the small village go back to the special cultural heritage and the natural beauty of the neighbourhood as well as to the healthy environment excellent for curing asthmatic diseases.

Hotel Ezüstfenyő is situated only a few steps from the center of the village, but already in a very romantic environment, surrounded by 6 acres of forest. The main building - which is covered with wood from the outside - consists of 18 nicely furnished rooms, and is attracting the lovers of the hills and nature. Our separated event-building is perfectly available for indoor and outdoor company trainings and conferences or any family events.

Furthermore Hotel Ezüstfenyő is calling the fans of the waters and angling: the nearby lake called „Ezüst tó” offers great experience which can be discovered soon, after the investments which will have been realized by 2010. Accomodation

Hotel Ezüstfenyő is waiting for its guests with nice, fully furnished rooms and apartments,

all of them equipped with separate bathroom, television and telephone.

Beside the 13 double/twin bedrooms 2 apartments are disposable as well (one of them with 3, the other with 4 beds.)

Gastronomy

Our restaurant provides a rich assortment of dishes for the fans of the Hungarian and international kitchen, as well as for those who prefer dietary or vegetarian meals. Take a look at our menu card and our breakfast or dinner buffet supply and you will certainly find your favourite!

Our terrace offers a nice place for intimate dinners, which can be more pleasurable with a soft background music.

In the summertime the yard is ready for the outdoor grill and barbecue parties, while during the rough winter the intimate fireplace provides shelter for a nice supper, when you can taste our excellent wines.

The restaurant presents a perfect scene for family reunions, birthday parties and other events for smaller groups.

Events

Hotel Ezüstfenyő as a significant conference hotel of the region, provides all the technological support indispensable for such events. The separate building with its representative rooms (one of them available for 20 persons, while the other for 60 persons) and silent environment has been operating as a scene for trainings, further educational courses, conferences, temporary exhibitions or weddings.

Our colleagues with several years experience are ready to help you in the preparation of an event, the organisation of a band or orchestra, the decoration of the saloon or on demand in the whole process of organizing a complete event.
