Finta Vendégház Vékény

The guest house is located in a village of 160 inhabitants on the border of the Keleti-Mecsek Landscape Protection Area.
There are two rooms with 3-3 beds - the rooms open into each other - which can be extended with two more beds (sofa bed, pull-out sofa bed). Spacious, well equipped kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, laundry facilities, separate toilet. No pets allowed.
The rooms are fully equipped with new furniture (beds, wardrobes). The kitchen is not only suitable for cooking, but also for comfortable dining and spending time for up to 8 people on 25 m2 and with a pull-out table. WIFI, TV provided. Air conditioning in two rooms ensures the right temperature for guests. Air conditioning is available for a fee of 990 HUF/day.
The bathroom has a washing machine, a separate bath and a separate shower cabin. The toilet is in a separate room.
In the courtyard there is an 8-person filagory for relaxation.
The Keleti-Mecsek Landscape Protection Area and within it the village of Vékény has many natural and architectural specialities. In the Landscape Protection Area there is a former quarry, from where stone was transported to the settlements of the area before the World War. Here is the former coal mine shaft, which has become a very deep crater over time (the coal can be seen on the surface in several places).
The house and the surroundings of the village offer the opportunity to relax and discover the natural treasures. The Máré castle is 8 km from the house, the Puchner experience estate in Bikal is 11 km away, and pottery and other handicraft attractions are in the neighbouring village.
The dark and light anchor surrounding the village cellar on two sides hides several former cellars, once dug into the loess wall. Some of them have collapsed, others are still visible. Two of them were once used for horse-drawn carriages (communal cellars), where food was stored in the old days.
