We are expecting in our house in Őriszentpéter, next to the Őrségi National Park Center not only our fox friends, but our special guests. In the west corner of Hungary by the border-join with Austria and Slovenia where in ancient time guardians were settled to guard the country from the enemy find now these tiny villages in the rolling hills. Charming farmhouses, where you can hear the silence, the chirping birds make the music and the smell of the fresh meadows and forests makes you fall in love again. From the windows you can see the stars at night. In autumn you can hear the rutting deer from your bed. In the morning roosters wakes you up very nearby. There are other free ranged native Hungarian animals in the farm: goats, racka sheep, kuvasz and mudi dogs, ducks, turkeys, guinea fowls, and chickens. Breakfast can be provided from the eco-garden. Lunch and dinner can be provided at the very close cheap and simple traditional or at the excellent Michelin star chef restaurant. There is fully equipped commune kitchen in the farm for guests use. The National Park provides rich programs all year around. From Budapest there is train to Őriszentpéter. Cyclist, tourist, hikers, mushroom collectors or other nature lovers are welcome!
