Description of the accommodation:

The Gimi Pension is located in the historical downtown, infront of the Local Theatre Hall, next to the Nagy István Gallery, in a quiet, calm environment. Even the authentic environment is our pension new built (2004). Our rooms are equipped with double beds, with bathrooms and with cable TV-s. We have 4 double rooms, 2 of them are possible to set up with extra bed, so we can accommodate max. 10 people at the same time. On the ground floor of the pension is operating a cosy coffee-shop with garden of Mediterranean atmosphere. Since February is a restaurant in the pension at service, so beside the breakfast we offer also lunch and dinner from the menu to our guests.

"Nice check-in clerk, nice check-out owners."
"Room and bathroom are old with uncomfortable bed. I won't say dirty, but when someplace is this old it can not be kept looking clean. Electrical outlets were loose from the walls. The device that holds the shower head was ineffective, no shower curtain, no towel hook anywhere near or in the shower either. The toilet seat had been replaced with a type way too big for the toilet opening. Just barely warm water for a shower. Web page says there is parking, the only parking I was directed to was on street parking. Night time activity on the street was noisy. The back garden smoking is allowed and raises up into the windows of the rooms above. Breakfast was minimal and not worth paying for, I should have gone to McDonald's. I believe I was the only guest at the establishment that night. 29 March 2019. Room 2."

"We have booked our room 3 months in advance and confirmed our reservation few days before arrival. It was supposed to be a double room with a blacony and a panoramic view. When we arrived we were offered a room in the attic, the only furniture was a bed, we didn't even have a closed. The bathroom was clean but it was impossible to take a shower because of the slopy cealling. When we went to the reception desk to complain, they said that they are sorry but this is the only room they have. Next morning our friends came and surprisingly they got the room with balcony, closed etc, the one we've booked. In case of this penzion don't expect to get what you've booked."

"The house is quite charming, the room was nicely decorated. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the town center and the restaurants by the river side. The cafe downstairs offers nice local meals at lunch time."
"The room was clean when we arrived but was not cleaned during the 5 days of our stay. The matresses are extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom has a tub but no shower curtain. Although the pension is in a quiet side road the noise of a big main road can clearly be heard from the back. The staff did not speak English or German. We had to wait for a young woman who attended the restaurant to translate for us. When we paid our bill at the end we were told that only one cup of coffee in the morning was free with the breakfast and they tried to charge extra. They never mentioned this when we had the breakfasts on the previous 4 days."
