We opened our guest house in the summer of 2021. Virtually the whole house looks on the beautiful panoramic scenery of the Vezekeny valley lake and the nearby hills. Far from cities, our guests shall find true peace here. The house has 5 air-conditioned rooms, one large living room, kitchen and dining room. Every room (as well as the living room) has its own bathroom, digital TV reception and smart TV connectivity. There are several terraces, the indoor kitchen is complemented by an outdoor kitchen and a fireplace for skewering, along with sunbeds and outdoor sitting furniture, and bicycles in limited supply available for free rental. Our outdoor (optionally heated) 6-person jacuzzi is available all year round.
The lake is available for boating and fishing (the latter requires fishing licence).
Petervasara offers a chance to visit the most beautiful church of the "paloc" folklore region of Hungary, the Keglevich castle (for outdoor viewing), and the popular local market on Tuesdays and Fridays. The town has all the necessary amenities, including several grocery stores, petrol station, medical centre, pharmacy, gym, hairdressers and cosmetics, or massage. The Arany Kakas Inn (Arany Kakas Fogadó) is available for a la carte eating (including pizza) all day and daily menus on weekdays, while you can enjoy ice cream in the summer. The restaurant delivers to the guest house from 16:00. The nearest public bath with waterslides is in Bükkszék, the famous Salvus Bath, 7 km from the house, while Eger is 25, Szilvasvarad is 30 km away.
