"Remekül éreztük magunkat a makulátlanul tiszta és rendezett, valamint jól felszerelt házikóban (egy sajtreszelő még jól jött volna, de ezenkívül minden volt bőségesen), a szemközti hegyoldalról minden reggel kolompolás és bégetés ébresztett. A kemence és a kerti zuhany volt a sláger, készült pizza, rozmaringos kenyér és csevap is. (A rozmaringot helyben lehetett szedni.) A tulaj azt is megengedte, hogy a kertben szedjünk a zöldségekből, így el voltunk látva paradicsommal, paprikával, cukkinivel és padlizsánnal is. A strand viszonylag közel volt. 950 m sétával és 38 m szintkülönbséggel könnyen elérhető a Lovrencina strand. Mi azonban jobban szerettük a kevésbé zsúfolt és sziklás/apró kavicsos Vela Loznát, ahova kicsit több sétával gyalog vagy akár autóval is el lehet jutni. A Trstena és Ducac strandok is viszonylag közel voltak, bár a Ducac elég szemetes sajnos. Kikapcsolódásra és aktív pihenésre is alkalmas a ház és a környéke. Futóknak akár a völgyekben, akár a közeli gerinceken vagy a tengerparton is vannak jó, viszont elég szintes útvonalak."
