"A szállás kicsi, zsúfolt, szó szerint alig lehet elférni az ágyak között, amik valójában egymásra rakott ágyak, így rettenetesen alacsonyak, nem igazi emeleteságyak, de efelett szemet hunytunk volna, hiszen tudjuk, hogy az ifjúsági szállás vagy kollégium nem luxushotel. Az átható csatornaszag viszont borzasztó zavaró volt, de még ezt is elnéztük. Viszont a szálláson nyüzsgő, hangoskodó, cigarettázó alakok gyorsan egyértelművé tették, hogy ez igazából egy munkásszállás. Hajnali 3 és 4 között arra keltünk, hogy a munkások indulnak, csapkodják az ajtókat, ordítoznak, bőgetik a motort. Ez legalább egy órán keresztül így folyt, majd egy újabb órán át nem tudtunk visszaaludni. Másnap egy verseny és egy hosszú út várt ránk, ezért inkorrektnek tartom, hogy ifjúsági szállásként tünetnek fel egy helyet, ami ottjártunkkor munkásszálló volt. Semmiféle felügyelet, házirendet betartató személyzet nincs, vagy legalábbis nem volt. Pihenésre, alvásra teljesen alkalmatlan."
