Kápolnás Vendégház Báta

The Kápolnás Guesthouse is a friendly accommodation, an ideal place for those wishing to relax: families, anglers, hunters, hikers, cyclists and nature photographers. It is a great base for exploring the Gemenc Forest!
Báta, a small village of the Sárköz region, lies 30 km away from Szekszárd, 35 km away from Baja and 20 km away from Mohács, by the Gemenc Forest, in the southernmost tip of Tolna county. Its beautiful natural environment, excursion and hiking opportunities, historic heritage and cultural programs offer pleasant recreation. Those who love hiking, angling, cycling and photography are at the right place! The Gemenc Forest can be explored by a narrow-gauge train, a pleasure boat or on foot along nature trails, while beautiful photos and films can be made. The historic churches, the Black Stork House, the Village House Museum, the Fisherman’s House and the János Czencz Memorial Museum offer real cultural treats.
Our guesthouse, which can accommodate up to 14 persons, is ideal for families with small children and groups of friends, both young and old.
The illuminated Church of the Holy Blood, standing on a hill, invites to a walk by night. Multitudes of stars can be watched without any telescope from the garden on dark summer nights, as there are no street lights here that could ruin the experience. Birds drink from the spring at the end of the garden or thin the abundant population of frogs living in the ditch that never dries out. The guest house is non-smoking and is not suitable for receiving pets.
