"Sok gyönyörű látnivalót tartogat az Őrség, de a Kisaranyos vendégház saját jogon is méltán ezen közé sorolható, amiért önmagában is érdemes ellátogatni ide. A házigazdák békebeli vendégszeretete egészen egyedülálló, ahol családtagnak érezheti magát az utazó. A ház kényelmes, tiszta és jól felszerelt, ami egyben megidézi a régi idők nyugodt és emberléptékű hangulatát. A pihenés mellett erősen ajánlott "benevezni" Gyöngyike laktató házi ételeire is, melyek a legfinomabb háztáji húsokból, zöldségekből és alapanyagokból készülnek, sok-sok szeretettel. (Tanácsos korgó gyomorral érkezni. :))"

"- A szállásadó asszony kijött értem a túrám végpontjához és utána ki is vitt ugyanoda másnap. - Ételben-italban nem volt hiány, szerintem ilyen nagy zabálást és ivást még életemben nem tartottam, mint aznap. - A következő napi túráimhoz elegendő volt a reggeli "maradéka"."
"A már valaki által leírt tukmálást én is éreztem már az első pillanattól. Van az a fajta háziasszony, akinek nem mondasz nemet a kajáira, mert abból konfrontáció lesz, és ennyi pénzért és mert a reggeli miatt a korai egyetlen buszt nem éred el, és nem szeretnéd, hogy véletlenül ne vigyenek ki a pecsételőhöz. Na én ezt éreztem aznap. Idehaza akkora hagyománya van a terülj-terülj asztalkának, hogy nem csodálom, hogy az értékelők 99 százaléka örült annak, hogy degeszre zabálhatta magát, de szerintem ez az egész túl van értékelve. Ennél azért jobbak vagyunk, uraim, vagy nem? Érdekesnek tartom azt is, hogy senki nem említi meg a(z) - amúgy nyilvánvalóan a vendéglátás minőségéhez és az étel-ital mennyiségéhez képest egyáltalán nem nagy mértékű - plusz költséget. Megkönnyítette volna a helyzetet, ha túraszervezés előtt láthattam volna, hogy az oldalon írt összeghez még nyugodtan számolhatok egy deákigazolványt, van még pár bejáratlan rész a DDK-n, tudtam volna máshová is menni. A szállásadó sunyiságáért persze nem okolhatom a vendégeket, de sokmindent elmond, hogy nem annyira segítjük egymást egy szállásértékelésnél, többet számít, hogy mennyit zabáltunk."
