Description of the accommodation:
There is no one in the earth who doesn't want to be a castle owner especially if this castle lays on a romantic land and beautiful surroundings - for example on the shore of a nice lake, on a cliff.
If not an owner you could be a guest in a former hunting-seat in Kőkapu, 7 km from Pálháza in Zemplén Mountains.
A wonderful scene unfold before your eyes travelling in the valley coming by car, motorcycle, bicycle, on foot or by a more than hundred years old narrow-gauge. The road winding intimate leads to the lake.
You can gaze at the last century built hunting-seat in wonder from the shore (there is the tunnel of the narrow gauge behind that) which guards the countryside from overhead. You can see both side of the valley from its belvedere.
This region was a fashionable hunting area in the age of Károlyis and the first half of the 20. Century. More head of state hunted here.
This area is a favourite place now days not only hunters but also those who like quiet, clear, peaceful nature, walking in the
forest and the splashing of the stream. Our guests can boating, angling and take a trip with the narrow gauge. We organise a walk or a ride, wine tasting, city and museum visiting, horse riding and Slovakian excursion.
There is room for 22 people in the pension and for 40-40 people in the tourist hostel. We can provide for 150 guests in our restaurant.
Beside resting, relaxation, friendly or family meeting you can
organise a 40 men conference or continuing education in the
80 m2 big saloon of the castle and dance, ball or other program in the restaurant.
