Matula Guesthouse is located in Géberjén in Szatmár County (North-East Hungary) on the banks of Holt-Szamos.
It’s an ideal place for those who enjoy quiet relaxation close to nature or who like fishing. Guests are welcome to join organised canoe tours.
Our village offers a variety of sights to visit: the renovated Jékey Mansion, the Sulyom trail, the Ogre shelter and the floating water-mill.
Matula Guesthouse offers wheelchair accessible accommodation for 4 persons. The bedroom is equipped with television, cable and free wifi. It is possible to park in the closed yard. The Guesthouse has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and possibility for open air cooking and barbecuing. In the backyard there’s a patio with an open air owen where 35-40 guests can be seated and treated.
Next to the Guesthouse stands the local grocery store where besides basic foodstuff fresh pastries and sandwiches are available.
The Matula Guesthouse was built in 2014 but it’s style recalls the style of farm houses of the previous century. The Guesthouse is an ideal starting point for visiting both local and provincial sights.
