Odú Vendégház Badacsonytördemic

Our guesthouse was completely refurbished in 2022. The air-conditioned bedrooms all have their own bathroom. Two rooms of the main building (with altogether 6 beds) share one kitchen while the apartment towards the garden has its own kitchen. Guests have access to WLAN and IPTV. The garden has huge walnut trees which provide cool shadow in the summer. The house is perfect for families or parties up to 9 people and can be also rented in the winter. The garden apartment has a big ceramic fireplace.
The quiet little village of Badacsonytördemic lies in the Badacsony wine region at the foot of Mount Badacsony but is not in the direct centre of activities. There are vineyards and forests and fields surrounding the village and also Lake Balaton. It is possible to have nice hikes to several hills with castles or look-out towers, such as Badacsony, Szigliget, Csobánc, St. George Hill, Sümeg, Nemesvita, Balatongyörök, Révfülöp.
The area and nearby Káli Basin has many places to enjoy wines or gastronomy. In a 10 km radius, there are 7 beaches along Lake Balaton, including Balatongyörök, Szigliget, Badacsony and Ábrahámhegy. Keszthely with the Festetics palace is 20 kms away and the thermal lake of Hévíz is located 25 kms from the guesthouse. The city of Tapolca 10 kms away has a charming little lake with a water mill and a cave with an underground lake that you can row on. There are many sailing, surfing, kayaking, canoeing, SUP and fishing possibilities along the lake and the bike route along Lake Balaton passes in front of the house, too.
