We warmly welcome you to our family-style guesthouse situated at the edge of the village, in a quiet environment, next to the forest.

The Örökzöld (Evergreen) Guesthouse has been expecting nature lovers since 2002 here, at the edge of our settlement hidden among the forests of the High Bakony Mountains. Within and outside of the walls of our guesthouse, hidden in the embrace of the lovingly cared-for trees and flowers of the garden resembling an arboretum, you will find tranquility and peace instead of luxury, which, with their refreshing naturality, will regenerate you and fill your body and soul with new energy. We offer precisely what is missing from the ordinary days of this fast-paced world. It is not a guesthouse in the usual sense of the word but a hiding place. A hiding place for those who are looking for the tranquility and beauty of Nature in the Bakony.
We offer a unique „green wellness” experience with a fresh smell of the forest, the plants and flowers instead of the chlorine-smelling „blue wellness” delimited by tiles. After forest excursions, hikes or bicycle tours in the incomparably clean air of the Bakony forests you can feel the healing force of Nature.
Young couples can enjoy here the possibility of romantic togetherness, those arriving with children, exciting discoveries and active family programmes, while the older generation, the unparalleled beauty and tranquility of Nature. Those who spend a couple of days in the Örökzöld Guesthouse will precisely know what we mean by „green wellness”.
The Örökzöld Guesthouse is situated on the upper floor of the building and is a 3-room apartment of approx. 90 m2, accessible via a comfortable stairway. All of the three rooms offer a wonderful panoramic view of the mountains or the garden.
In addition to the central heating, we have had a comfortable and environmentally friendly solar water heating system providing a higher comfort level for our guests since 2009.
We can sleep up to 8-9 persons at a time in our family-friendly guesthouse, which is thus an ideal venue for smaller family or friendly reunions. We can accommodate our guests in a double, a triple and a quadruple room with the bed linen provided. Belonging to these, there are 2 bathrooms (one with a shower, the other with a bathtub), and a kitchen, functioning also as a dining room and a lounge, on the mezzanine. The kitchen includes a gas oven and a microwave oven, a sink, 2 refrigerators, a tea and coffee machine, a toaster and the necessary kitchen equipment: cookware, plates, glasses, cutlery, etc.
We expect our esteemed guests with SELF-CATERING COOKING FACILITIES.
If required, Bakonybél has several restaurants, the nearest ones are 50 and 300 metres away.
There is a partly covered fire ring with a grill, a swing, a sandbox, skittles, a large lawned area, and garden furniture in the garden and on the terrace, all available to guests who want to relax. Charcoal can be brought for the garden grills, firewood can be provided for an extra fee. A parking possibility is available to guests arriving by car on our enclosed yard.
A bus stop is situated within 100 m of the guesthouse, railway stations are available 18 km away, in Zirc, or 33 km away, in Pápa.
Our coupon entitles our guests to a 10% discount on the prices of the entrance tickets to the thermal spa of Pápa, operating all year long, as well as its services (Sauna World, solarium, massage).
In addition to tourist attractions, there is a monastery souvenir shop, grocery stores, a pastry shop, a post office, a surgery and a pharmecy in the village.

The forest-covered surroundings of the guesthouse, situated in the valley of the Gerence stream, invite you for walks, hikes or bicycle tours; its garden, as beautiful as an arboretum, allows you to peacefully relax, barbecue or cook on open fire. There is a car park in the enclosed yard.

For children: sandbox, swings, skittles, badminton, storybooks, drawing sets, basketball hoop. In winter, sledding on nearby slopes or in the large garden.

Hiking, excursions or cycling on marked trails. Book your holiday for the desired dates as soon as possible, so that we can surely welcome you as our guest. (E.g. in case of holidays and long weekends, you had better book months earlier!).

WE CAN GUARANTEE THE REQUESTED ACCOMMODATION ONLY ON THE CONDITION OF BOOKING IN ADVANCE AND A 25% ADVANCE PAYMENT PAYABLE BY POSTAL ORDER OR BANK TRANSFER.

WE CONFIRM THE RESERVATION IN WRITING.
If you cancel your reservation more than 15 days before the booked date, it can be changed to another, agreed date if free rooms are available. In case of cancellations within 15 days, we cannot modify the dates or refund the deposit. In case of a no-show, we bill 25% of the reservation value.
The accommodation should be left by 10 AM, and therefore, our esteemed guests cannot check in sooner than in the early afternoon. Exceptions are possible only if agreed in advance!
If you arrive earlier or plan to leave in the afternoon, you can leave your luggage with us.
