Panoráma Vendégház Bodony

We kindly invite you to our small village, called Bodony, located in the Mátra hill, 18 km far from the highest point of Hungary, Kékestető. Our Hungarian traditional renovated guesthouse is situated in a quiet street, which is designed for a private use for max 10 people (neither other guests, nor the owner stays there).
Our outdoor hot tub (for 6 people, made from glass fibre, enriched with salt and having a night light in its water) can be used for free by our guests. By our guests’ arrival, the water is heated and firewood is prepared for further heating. (Our instructions and rules of use for the hot tub can be read at the end of the description that must be read and signed at the time of arrival.)
Characteristics of our guesthouse:
It is a long Hungarian traditional house with intercommunicating 3 spacious bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, a well-equipped kitchen, living room/dining room. It has a spacy paved yard and with grass, too. We also offer a small playground to children. You can find in the garden a fireplace for outdoor cooking, a barbecue and grill. The house has an outdoor terrace with roof at the entrance. A comfortable gas heating system ensures the warmth indoor and the hot water as well. We provide unlimited coffee and tea and a stable wifi for free. We welcome our guests with a bottle of wine and children with some soft drink. For entertainment, you can find two games: party Alias and Activity, for little ones: colouring games, building blocks and others. For looking around, there are different touristic brochures about Mátra.
Payment terms at the guesthouse: by immediate bank transfer and cash.

- room with joists in the ceiling: a double bed with bedside lamps, two wardrobes, a storage for bedclothes, TV (Super Family HD pack), with drapes and mosquito net
- middle room: a double bed and a single bed with bedside lamps and drapes, a door to the outdoor corridor
- front room: a double bed and two separate chair-beds with bedside lamps, a chest of drawers and wardrobe, TV, shutter
- living room / dining room: a couch/sofa-bed (140 cm wide), a table with chairs, TV and a chest of drawers
- kitchen: a fridge with a freezer, an inductive hotplate with pots, a microwave, a water heater, a coffee maker, a hot sandwich baker, a toaster, basic herbs, other useful fittings and a washing machine
- first bathroom (opening from the living room): with a bathtub, with a toilet, mirror-tiles, offering bath salt, shower and bath gel, a wellness bath pillow, a hairdryer, some toiletries and towels
- second bathroom: (opening from the kitchen) shower, toilet, shower gel, towers
There is a pathway in our yard up to the Panorama lookout where you can have a wonderful view to the Mátra hill and to Kékestető.
Our regular visitors are some deers and some roe-deers, therefore you can listen to their bell and troat sitting in the outdoor hot tub or at the terrace from the end of August to the end of September.
You can enjoy a lot of beautiful trips around Bodony and in the Mátra hill as well.
