In Miskolc there is a special building at the southern foot of the Bükk Mountains, which history dates back to 1870. We decided to open to the public a 120 sqm well renovated part of the former railway station building for those looking for a peaceful rest and recreation. Why spend a pleasant weekend in this unique place ? We offer a completely private holiday right next to the forest. The immediate access to the national hiking trail leads us to the Miskolc Zoo and Cultural Park within a half an hour forest walk, but the brave ones can have lunch in Lillafüred after a 2-hours hiking. Right next to the building is the Vilma-Spring - named after the niece of Benedek Elek, who often sat in this place - where people collecting fresh drinking water arriving not just from Miskolc but from the neighborous towns. This is just a few steps away for you. The former lung sanatorium is 0.6 miles away. It's not by accident. Due to the healthy air we recommend our accommodation to everyone. Drivers can access above mantined places and the Castle of Diósgyőr, the city centre of Miskolc and Railwaystation of the Forest railway in 10-15 minutes by car. The cave bath in Miskolctapolca is a 20-minute drive away. The building has 2 large bedrooms (25 sqm) with extra large double beds. The living room and dining room is connected connect to the bedrooms and bathroom equipped with a small wood-burning fireplace for winter days. The bathroom is equipped with an infrared sauna. For longer stays, there is an additional room for washing and ironing. We have not forgotten about or dear business travellers. We provide them an office desk with printer and scanner. Our range of services have been continuously expanding, which will include a 25 sqm summer house which is currently under construction will be equiped with gas BBQ facility and wood burning oven for BBQ and pizzas. Important information:
1.) Guests can use the large courtyard and garden according to the security and property protection rules
2.) The needs of families with children will be met after prior consultation
3.) We can provide bicycles on demand
4.) One hour per night sauna use is included in the price. Each subsequent use is 1 500 HUF/hour
5.) When using a fireplace one dose of wooden logs can be used freely. Each subsequent dose is 1000Ft/dose
6.) During the heating period, the heating fee must be paid separately according to agreement and accordint to consumption.
7.) Smoking in the house is prohibited! 35,000 HUF/night to be charged for smoking violations
8.) The house is equipped with a system of property protection, remote monitoring and double camera protection. Parking cars are also supervised by the camera system.
9.) Arrival and departure time can be changed by prior arrangement
10.) Late check-out will be charged with +50%.
Current information: In May-June 2021 we can provide charcoal grilling and bacon baking and cauldron facilities.
