Pensiunea Scărișoara Ghețari

Scarisoara Guesthouse is a traditional farm from Tara Motilor, situated at an altitude of 1100m, near the cave Ghetarul from Scarisoara, in a special natural setting, surrounded by fir and spruce forests.
It all started from the ardent desire of the owners to develop a small recreation business as an alternative for the management of the forest, which is the main source of income for the families in this region. Thus we can say that this guesthouse is a pilot guesthouse for development of the sightseeing on the Scarisoara's Berg plateau.
The guesthouse developed stept by step, from 5 rooms with 2 shared bathrooms up to 15 rooms and 12 bathrooms at the moment, this was possible due to the concluded project of adduction of the running water from this plateau.
The pension has a farm with cows, pigs, dogs, cats, poultry, and a huge yard of 4-5 hectares near the forest.
It is an ideal place for visiting many tourist attractions in Apuseni Mountains.

Ghetarul Cave from Scarisoara , located at 15 minutes, Cheile Ordancusii with Poarta lui Ionele cave, track marked with blue band that can be covered very easily in summer in 5-6 hours, Coiba Mare, Coiba Mica, Izbucul Tauz and Ghetarul Cave from Vartop, track marked with blue triangle that can be also covered in about 6- 7 hours round trip, this is for lovers of mountain hiking.
For those who want to travel for some reasons with the car, the guesthouse can provide you its own car, with which we can travel also to Padis, Ponorului Fortress, Focul Viu, etc.
