Accommodation of the Year 2019 - Professional Award 3rd Place

Saliris is an invented, compound word meaning "salt rainbow." It refers on the one hand to the salt hill that has become a symbol of Egerszalók, and on the other hand to the diversity that the Resort offers. Our goal is that visitors think back on their visit as experience-rich and positively recharging, pondering when they can make a return visit.

The Hotel is located in a 17,5-hectare unique natural environment surrounded by pine forest connected to the Thermal Spa. Its main attraction is the thermal source springing from the depths of the earth and the salt hill created by the water flowing down the hillside. Similar natural formations can only be found in two other places in the world (Pamukkale/ Turkey, Yosemite Park USA )

Out of the 204 rooms at Hunguest Saliris, there are 102 Standard, 52 Superior, 40 Superior Plus rooms, 9 Suites, and 1 Presidential Suite. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen television with access to a large number of channels, as well as a telephone, wired internet connection, mini-bar, safe, air conditioning and heating, coffee and tea-making equipment, and bathrobe. All of the rooms have a terrace.

"Alapvetöen nagyon szeretjük ezt a szálláshelyet, minden évben eljövünk ide és fogunk is még a jövöben a szuper wellness miatt. Éppen ezért nagyon jó összehasonlítási alapunk van évröl évre, hogy milyen volt korábban és milyen most. A szálloda éttermét nagyon szerettük mindig, mert figyeltek arra, hogy mindig legyen a kínálatban valami különlegesség. Pl. korábban a reggelinél volt külön asztal a házi szörpöknek, kb. 8 féle ízesítésü szörpöt lehetett kóstolni. Ez már nincs. Volt külön asztal a házi lekvároknak, szintén kb 8 féle, de most már ez sincs, csak 2 féle. Volt külön asztal, ahol az alternatív tejek voltak kitéve, pl kókusztej, szójatej, mandulatej. Ez sincs már, külön szólni kell a pincérnek, ha szeretnénk kérni. Korábban lépesméz is volt kint mindig, most már ez sincs. Volt külön meleg tej és hideg tej is, most már hideg tej nincs kitéve, csak meleg. A kávégépek sem csinálnak olyan finom kávét, mint korábban. Voltak kint mindig különlegesebb sajtok egy külön pulton, most már ezeket sem találtuk. Ezek nem óriási problémák, mert tényleg minden nagyon finom volt most is, de a vendéglátásban egy dolgot soha sem szabad elkövetni, mégpedig azt, hogy rontunk a szolgáltatás minöségén az elözö években megszokotthoz képest. Ezek filléres tételek egy ilyen szálloda egyéb költségeihez képest, nem szabad a színvonalon csökkenteni soha. Fogunk még jönni ide, mert nagyon szeretjük, de reméljük, hogy nem fognak ismét lejjebb adni abból a szolgáltatásból, amit eddig nyújtottak."
