Terény is a picturesque village of barely 400 enthusiasts hidden among the slopes of Cserhát in Nógrád County, which is rich in both natural and architectural heritage, making it an important tourist destination in the region.
It is 85 km from Budapest and 20 km from Balassagyarmat, but Hollókő is also only 35 km away. It is connected to Balassagyarmat and Magyarnándor by regular bus service, and the nearest railway station is located 12 km away at Magyarnándor. The National Blue Trail, the Green -Way and the Palóc Trail also pass through Terény

The Szőlősor Guesthouse is one of these protected houses. During the renovation of the guest house, we tried to preserve the character of the folk architecture and furnishing customs. However, we have smuggled in the technical achievements of today into the old walls to serve our guest’s convenience.
In the guesthouse there are two large bedrooms with 3-3 comfortable beds, so we can accommodate 6 adult guests, but to place an extra bed for 1 children is also possible.
The house has two entrances. On the first we get to the entrance hall, where you can enter the two rooms and the bathroom with high trays and shower cabin. In each room, in addition to the beds, there is a table, chairs and an armchair, a wardrobe and bedside tables.
The second entrance leads to the large, well-equipped kitchen, which can also be used as a dining room and communal space . The kitchen has a gas stove, sink, refrigerator, microwave, kitchen crescent, kettle, sandwich oven coffee maker, glasses, plates, dishes, cutlery to provide a confortable setting for cooking. . There are large table chairs here, but also armchairs and couches. Heating is provided by a controllable gas convectors throughout the house.

We are a child-friendly accommodation, we can provide a crib, children's accessories, toys. Within the framework of a child discount, we can accommodate 1 child up to 3 years of age for free, but we can also provide a discount for other children.

The house also has a grassy courtyard where you can play games, and there is also a fire pit and picnic area. A new large playground has built in the village center 500 m away. You can park in the yard or on a separate driveway in front of the house.

We cannot accept domestic animals.
Smoking is not allowed in the building.
Our guest house is self-catering, we cannot provide meals. There is a small shop in the village center, but it is also possible to order pizza or hot food. In the village, you can also get eggs, cheese, jam, honey, etc. at private houses.
