Varga Apartment Balatonberény is located in a quiet street in Balatonberény, known as the green island of Balaton. There are several shops and restaurants in the settlement. A Spar Market opened in our village in the summer of 2021. Several tourist attractions can be visited in the vicinity, such as Héviz (20 km), a unique hot water lake in Europe. In addition, there are several thermal baths in the area. Such e.g. Zalakaros, Kehidakustány and Marcali. For those looking for spiritual refreshment, the Peace Stupa in Zalaszántó can be found 22 km away. The largest stupa in Europe was consecrated by the Dalai Lama. Whoever comes here once always wants to come back.
Keszthely is 15 km away. Here we can see the beautiful Festetics castle, but in addition, the city offers countless attractions in addition to the picturesque downtown, such as the pedestrian street and museums. The Dino and Adventure Park in Rezi offers a really great experience for children. The Africa Museum is located in Balatonederic, an open-air attraction with live animals and a real African atmosphere. Last but not least, Balaton is 600 meters away on foot from the guest house and 1 km away by car, with its beautiful, spacious beach with ancient trees, swimming pool, beach soccer, beach volleyball and basketball courts. The free beach is at the same distance and there is also a naturist beach in our village.
