Villa Layla Okrug Gornji

Next to the historical UNESCO protected city of Trogir in central Dalmatia lies a small, but beautiful island of Ciovo, rich with untouched nature and hidden beaches. Ciovo is also connected to the mainland with a bridge and perfectly situated in the vicinity of Trogir (2 km), Split (25 km) and Split airport (5 km).

Ciovo consists of small traditional Dalmatian villages, one of which is Okrug Gornji, which has everything needed for a nice and relaxing family vacation, such as beautiful pebble beach’s with shallow areas, various restaurants and taverns with great offer of Dalmatian specialties and domestic vine, beach bars, grocery shops, ATM machines and a post office. Those who are keen on more active vacation can go on organized diving trips, rent a boat or jet ski, enjoy a half day boat excursion to the nearby islands of Solta and Drvenik or visit the National park Krka Waterfalls, one of the natural wonders of Dalmatia. Okrug Gornji also has a taxi boat which goes to Trogir every 20 minutes.

On the south side of the island Ciovo there is a known sanctuary Gospa od Prizidnice, which offers a breathtaking view of the islands Solta and Brac.

Villa Layla is a lovely 3 star villa situated in a small fisherman village Okrug Gornji on island Ciovo. This comfortable and newly renovated villa has everything needed for a nice, relaxing holiday. Villa Layla covers the area of 300 m2 and consists of ground and first floor.

The house has 4 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room, 2 bathrooms and a balcony. Spacious and cosy living and dining room have a dining table for 6 people and a large fireplace if the nights get chilly. The balcony with a gorgeous view of the crystal clear sea also has a table for six people. Guests have a washing machine and iron at disposal. The house is completely air conditioned and has SAT-TV, DVD and wireless Internet connection. Villa Layla can accommodate 6 people.

The outside consists of a wonderful garden with a spacious terrace and a private swimming pool (18 m2) with nozzles and deck chairs, where our guests can completely relax and soak up the sunshine. The garden is decorated with various Mediterranean plants and trees Guests can also use the outside grill. Outside parking places are provided, while the garage is available on request.

The nearest beach is just 150m away, while the largest beach on the island is 800 m away from the villa. The beach offers various beach bars with food and drinks, deckchairs for rent, water sports and many more. Villa Layla is only 5 minutes away from Trogir by car and 30 minutes from Split.

Trogir is an old UNESCO protected town. The town is situated on a small island between the mainland and island Čiovo, where one can find many stone churches, palaces, 2 towers, monuments, houses which date back to the medieval time..

Split is over 1700 years old and it is centered on the ancient, UNESCO protected, Roman Palace of the Emperor Diocletian.
