Vulkán Wellness Hotel és Camping Celldömölk

The Vulkán Wellness Hotel & Camping is located in Celldömölk in Hungary's Transdanubia, at the foot of the 5 million-year-old volcanic Ság mountain. The region is characterized by the Mediterranean climate, which makes Vulkán Fürdő, which is directly connected to the hotel, a special destination for wellness enthusiasts. The medical and thermal pools - their combined water surface is about 1,600 m2 - the "Celli Vulkán Medicinal Water", 8 different pools, seasonally open children's world with a giant slide, sauna, wellness treatments and massages ensure the perfect relaxation for the elderly, families and young people alike! The healing water from the Celldömölk volcano comes from a depth of 1245 meters.

The opening hours of the pools have been changed in the Vulkán Spa and Experience Spa.

Until February 28 the children's world of the spa will be open on weekends - on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

From March 1st 2025 the children's world will be open on weekends and long weekends - on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The beach season from May 15 to September 15 has been set aside - all pools in the spa are open during this period - they are available to our hotel guests from 7 am.

Pools available in the pre- and post-season from September 16 to May 14 outdoor and indoor thermal pool, the outdoor jacuzzi pool with medicinal water and the swimming lesson pool. During this period, the large swimming pool is closed - our hostel guests are already open from 7 am in the accessible pools.

The complex has 40 rooms with balconies close to nature, 24 mobile homes and 56 parking spaces for caravans. We prepare seasonal delicacies in the hotel's restaurant and bar. Our hotel guests can even book half-board, which includes a generous buffet breakfast and dinner. There is a playroom for children, a playground in the camping area, as well as the popular TouchGameTable, minigolf, billiards, foosball and fitness room for all ages! The comfort of our guests is ensured by free WiFi and parking. In our sauna world, there are also infrared and Finnish saunas, bio saunas, and steam cabins. Our sauna infusions are available every day between 15:00 and 18:00, and 3 infusions per day are free for hotel guests. A salt cave and solarium can also be used for an additional fee.

For sports lovers, we have a lighted artificial grass soccer field, a basketball court and a tennis court. Contact our reception for the possibility of renting a bicycle!

The use of Celldömölk medicinal water is recommended for chronic wear and tear of cartilage in the spine and joints as a result of the aging process associated with age, chronic stages of metabolic diseases (gout), pain in the muscles and tendons surrounding the joints, chronic inflammatory rheumatological pathologies, rehabilitation after orthopedic and traumatological surgery, low back pain , pains radiating from the waist, static in case of disturbances, postural disorders (scoliosis), to reduce stress and overload. Treatments supported by TB are also available in the spa.

Celldömölk and its surroundings have a rich history and natural features. Ság mountain is part of the Sághegy Landscape Protection District. A unique place where you can walk on the edge of a long-cooled volcano and learn about the history of the once active crater! We also provide a Nordic walking stick for the walk free of charge! Wandering on the mountain, we can discover the Sághegy Museum, an exhibition housed in the former transformer house of the basalt mine.

For those interested in geology and geography, the Kemenes Volcano Park, which is 5 minutes from our hotel, can offer an interesting program, which hides the only volcanological exhibition in the country. In the building with a striking design, the volcanoes of the Earth and Hungary, as well as our local landmark, the Ság mountain basalt volcano, are presented on 1,000 square meters. The Vasparipa Playground is located next to the volcano park, where a garden railway with a track length of nearly seven hundred meters provides entertainment for the whole family, its emblematic locomotives have been scaled down. Modern outdoor playground elements are available for the little ones.

Celldömölk is famous for its wine culture, so a wine tasting in one of the wineries can be a real experience. Taste the local wines and enjoy the hospitality of the producers. We unreservedly recommend Szív Cellar and Dénes Hegybirtok. Due to its positive physiological effects, the wine known as "Sagweiner" was used in the 18th and 19th centuries. It was sold by pharmacies all over Europe in the 19th century. Sághegyi Harvest Days are held in Celldömölk in autumn.

In Vulkán's restaurant and cafe, we pamper our guests' taste buds with seasonal delicacies. Our chef prepares our meals from local and seasonal ingredients, so guests can taste the flavors of the area. Pizzas, hot sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs and goulash soup, as well as many other delicacies await our guests who want to satisfy their appetite in our buffet located in the spa area. In addition to our other canned beers, our guests' favorite Soproni on tap, as well as a wide selection of wines, pálinkas and non-alcoholic soft drinks, are on offer. The hotel also takes care of the smallest guests. Children's playground, minigolf and the playground located in the camping area provide entertainment for children, so families can also have a good time with us.

Entrance to the sauna world is included in the price for guests. A certain part of our sauna world can only be used without a swimsuit due to hygiene regulations.

The locker in the bathroom, the salt cave, solarium, massages and treatments can be used by hotel guests for an additional fee.
