A Bata Apartman Martfű

A Bata... as we call this cosy appartment ever since it becam our family's property. It is located in the centre of Martfű, the town's oldest neighbourhood, just next to Bata square. Among with many others in this neighbourhood the building have been raised by Jan Antonin Bata (a tycoon of shoe industry in the early 19th century) for the workers of his new factory, well before Martfű became an independent township. Now it is one of the town'soldest buildings. During the renovation and remodeling of the appartment our goal was to create a space that meets with all demands of modern living. We also tried to keep the original atmosphere. Eventually A Bata became the official name of the appartment. Regardless of one arriving in business matter, a family reunion or to explore the countryside, A Bata will serve as a comfortable place to rest. Shops, thermal spa are just a few minutes walk away. One can make a long hike along the river bank of Tisza. There is a separate bikeway to reach Szolnok city safe on bycicle.
