Castellum Hotel Hollókő

The village of Hollókő is one of the most charming spots in Hungary hidden in the Cserhát Naturepark. Hollókő is the only village in Hungary which has been registered on the list of World Heritage, together with its natural environment, since 1987.
You can reach Hollókő by car within an hour from Budapest on motorway M3 or by public transport (by bus) from Stadionok (Népstadion) Bus Station, Budapest. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Árpád híd bus station in Budapest to Szécsény or Pásztó, where you switch to a local bus to Hollókő; there are four time daily.
If you're driving from Budapest, take the motorway M3 as far as Hatvan, then along the main road turn off onto Route 21 in the direction of Salgótarján until you come to the junction for Hollókő (Szécsény). From here, it is a 17 km (11 miles) drive.
