The "Das Blaue Haus" Guesthouse
in Kovácshida, Baranya County an adobe house under monument protection, built in 1905. In 2021 completely renovated, during which its interiors were re-designed and shaped according to modern expectations. We took special care to keep the charm of the country house unchanged. For our guests there are two apartments available with separate entrances and different sizes: the largest one, called “Wohnung 1” (W1), which with its spacious living areas, dining room with American kitchen and living room is mainly recommended for families, can accommodate 6 people. The smaller one, called "Wohnung 2" is a compact apartment for 4 people with also an American kitchen, a living room and a smaller bedroom. We make it available to our guests who use the whole house (both W1 and W2 together) a separate farmhouse (called „Häuschen” ) for a minimal fee. It has also American kitchen, living-dining room for 2 persons, but without separate bedroom, bathroom and toilet.
Our apartment-house is located only 5 km from the country-wide well-known and popular Harkány, the city of thermal bath, so the "Das Blaue Haus" is an ideal accommodation for a longer spa stay. The Ormánság and Baranya region offers many other attractions and leisure activities. Whether it's a trip, fishing, shopping or exploring the historical places of Pécs and Siklós, the fine wines of the famous winemakers of Villány viticulture or the fiery cuisine of the Hungarian Csárda, you can expect a varied and relaxing holiday in our Guesthouse!
