Evetes Vendégház Hidegkút

Our guest house is located on the main street of Hidegkút, a charming little sack village in Balaton Felvidék. The village also has a grocery store, as well as a beautifully renovated streamside sports field and playground. Hidegkút is located 5 km from Balatonfüred as the crow flies. Füred can be reached by bicycle or on foot within the framework of an easy short walk through the forest. It is 15 km by road, as is Veszprém, the cultural capital of Europe, which provides the opportunity for easy relaxation all summer long.
Hidegkút was once two settlements, the borders of which were defined by the stream running through the village, which flows throughout the year. In the center of the village there is a wooded park next to the playground.
Thanks to the location of the settlement, all age groups can find recreation opportunities here, whether it's a family or a group of friends. The proximity of Lake Balaton (swimming and sports opportunities) and Veszprém (Veszprém Castle, cultural events), the tourist routes on foot and by bike, the charm of the village captivates all visitors. Several popular tourist routes are available from the village: Recsek Mountain Lookout, Koloskavölgy, Balatonszőlős, etc... The cellars of the area await visitors with delicious wine tastings. Gastronomic delights are provided by restaurants in the area.
The guest house is a 130-year-old renovated Swabian farmhouse, the rooms of which we left behind. Thus, upon entering the hall, the bathroom with toilet is opposite, and the living room is to the right. The bedroom opens from the living room, which overlooks the street front. The windows are heat and sound insulated. To the left of the entrance hall is the dining room-kitchen, from which a small staircase leads to the 35 m2 covered terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a Nespresso and a Szarvasi coffee machine.
We provide bed linen and towels for all our guests.
The guest house has a garage and a large garden with a kettle.
The courtyard garden is surrounded by a fence.
Our guest house is equipped with two cooling-heating air conditioners, although thanks to the 70 cm stone walls, cooling is not necessary even in the hottest summer.
