Most of the castles/castle ruins are located in the area: Szigliget, Sümeg, Rezi, Tátika Castle, Csobánc.
Other nearby attractions: Vállus forest with a lookout point and the medieval Pauline church ruins, Kő orra with a wonderful view in Várvölgy, Bazaltorgonák on Szent-György hill and on Badacsony, Hegyestű - the volcanic crater, Sztúpa on Zalaszántó, the Savanyúvíz spring on Nemesgulács, the Tapolca Spring Cave and many other attractions on the Blue tour line.
