This apartment is located in the central part of Budapest, yet it is quiet and full of birds chirping thanks to the inner courtyard. The use of wooden materials dominates the design of the interior spaces, with the individually made elements we have evoked nature in the urban environment, which is why it is a soothing experience to return home. The Danube coast is close and the main attractions are easily accessible by public transport. An excellent choice for those who want to explore Budapest.
The apartment is located on the ground floor of a circular corridored apartment building built 130 years ago. In accordance with the architectural style of the time, the huge ceiling height (5m) made it possible to transform the property into an internal two-story during the renovation. The kitchen, the bathroom, the living room are located on the lower floor, and the bedrooms with double beds are located on the upper floor. The design of the spaces is dominated by the style of old country houses, naturalness and the use of wooden materials. The apartment is pleasantly cool and quiet. The common yard in front of the entrance door can be used freely.
In the neighborhood, there are mostly bourgeois houses and tenements built in the late 1800s and early 1900s in classicist style. This house, in which our apartment is located, was built in the 1890s on Ferenc körút, approx. 400 m from the Danube and survived the two world wars without major damage. This section of the Boulevard is characterized by rows of trees bordering the wide road on both sides, which provide a refreshing experience in the city bustle. Thanks to the very thick brick walls, the apartments are quiet and cool inside.
There are many shopping opportunities nearby within a few hundred meters, there are supermarkets (Aldi, Spar, Roni 0-24), drugstores, convenience stores and classic markets. There are small bakeries, fast food restaurants, canteens, wineries, pubs and cafes within walking distance.
There are metro and tram stops almost on site, with which Budapest's main transport hubs and Budapest's many attractions, can be easily reached.
