Charming spacious apartment with private terrace and garden in a centrally located classic 1920s house. The apartment is very spacious, sophisticated and furnished in the style of the building.
The apartment is located in the centre of the town, 500 m from the historic castle and the old town, 200 m from restaurants and shops, 900 m from the Bodrog river. Absolute downtown location, everything within walking distance.
Sárospatak is the pearl of the Tokaj - Hegyalja wine region.
This small town is the small town religious and power centre of the region, once known as " Bodrog coastal Athens " for its strong artistic, spiritual and educational heritage.

This peaceful and attractive town is situated between the Bodrog River and the vineyards, with numerous restaurants and ice cream parlours, museums and wineries, making it an excellent base for exploring the region. Reformed College and Great Library, Tokaj-Hegyalja University, St. Elisabeth Memorial House, Basilica.

If you like natural adventures, swim in the river (or go boating - with motorbike or paddle ? even SUP), swim in the thermal baths with outdoor thermal water !

The apartment has a large living-room with 2 queen-size beds (separable) and a 2-person sofa bed. It has a private terrace, parking in the yard and a garden.

The dining room - kitchen is well equipped, with the possibility to barbecue, cook or just enjoy the garden. Firewood is provided.

The walls of the house are thick, so it stays cool even in summer. In addition to gas heating, there is also a tiled stove, so the house can be cosy and warm even in the cold months.

You too should discover the autumn, winter and spring of Tokaj-Hegyalja beyond the busy summer season ! Autumn is my personal favourite - check out the vineyards and the famous harvest season in October, best for cycling or hiking. It is even possible to join a grape harvest where you can personally taste the flavours of the delicious grapes.

In the area you will find hiking trails (the blue hike starts nearby), cosy wine cellars, excellent gastronomic spots and boat trips on the Bodrog river. It is also an unmissable destination for history and castle lovers, with dozens of castles in addition to Sárospatak Castle creating the unique historical atmosphere of the area.
Sátoraljaújhely has a rich adventure park, Europe's longest bobsleigh track, a cable car, a cable car slide between two mountains, and a 200 m high cable car to make your stay unforgettable (up to 1 week-10 days of relaxation with several activities for every day).

The Zemplén Festival is held every August. An artistic festival of diversity and cultural tourism, with music, theatre and dance performances of different styles and genres, exhibitions, children's activities, beautiful landscapes and, of course, the unmissable Tokaj wines
for the adventurous audience.
