Description of the accommodation:
Matula Guesthouse is located in the settlement section of Szécsény Benczúrfalva. The village was named after Gyula Benczúr, a painter, before the 1920s was the name of Dolány. In the cemetery of a quiet village in the valley there is a medieval church church, painter Gyula Benczúr, István Szabó and ifj István Szabó sculptor of the sculptor who were born in the settlement. Benczur Castle and its park will soon be renovated. We can go back to the past in the Village Museum, and we can also ask for a handicraft presentation in advance (basketball, ceramic painting, weaving). Excellent hiking in the surrounding forests.
Within 20 km there are tourist attractions: Szécsény: Forgách Castle, Hollókő: castle, village Ipolytarnóc: ancient remains, Salgótarján: Mining Museum, Salgó Castle, Somoskő Castle, Balassagyarmat: Palóc Museum, Lower Stregon Baths.
The guest house has a large grass garden with a cauldron. At the end of the garden there is a creek.
