Our guesthouse is located on Somlo hill – which is also Hungary’s smallest and probably most unique wine region. In the two-storey house the ground floor holds the living-room ( with a pull-out sofabed ) , an open-plan kitchen and dining area and a bathroom with shower and toilet. There are two bedrooms upstairs, both of which contains a 180x200 cm double bed and a 90x200 cm single bed. The house also has a very large, near 50m2 covered terrace, with a beautiful view of Lake Balaton’s extinct volcanic hills, vineyards and villages below. Under the house there is a small wine bar with a buffet-style kitche. The bar is open only during the weekend between 12:00 – 20:00 hours. With a 24 hours notice, we can supply breakfast for 10 EUR / person, coffee, wine-tasting and a light dinner, on any day of the week- We can also recommend wineries to visit and tracking routes on the hill. Please note, that at this level, there is no communal water on Somlo hill. We have a 7m3 rainwater – tank, which supplies the house with filtered water for showering, dishwashing and toilet-flushing, but we supply drinking and cooking water separately.
