Pensiunea Izvorul Maleii Jieț

The Izvorul Maleii guesthouse is located in the resort of Parâng at an altitude of 1100, in a quiet area, near the Maleia stream, at a distance of 150 meters from the chairlift and 8 kilometers from the town of Petroșani.
For winter sports lovers, the guesthouse is located at the end of slope B, which has a total length of 3800 meters. Apart from the B slope starting from the 1700 level, there are also other slopes. For the summer you can do mountain trails on Parângul Mic, Parângul Mare.
Venture to the 22 glacial lakes located in the Parâng mountains, of which we list a few: Lake Mija, Lake Gâlcescu, Lake Roșiile, Lake Verde, etc.
For the brave paragliders with the famous Toma Coconea, in October those who want to can participate in the ``run the lift'' contest (who reaches before the chairlift), a contest organized by the one and only Tomi.
You can also hike on the Transalpina, Transvâlcan, Taii gorges, Jieț gorges, Băniței gorges.

The guesthouse has 8 rooms and an accommodation capacity of 16 adults and 4 children. The rooms have their own bathrooms, TV, Internet, hairdryer, etc. Modern kitchen available with dishwasher, dining room for 20 people, two outdoor terraces: one with barbecue area, kettle and the second one is closed and serves as a relaxation area, garden with a capacity of 6 - 7 people , massage chair, video supervised parking, trampoline for children.
