GAPA Guest House is located in the border town of Šahy in southern Slovakia, set in a picturesque environment right by the Ipeľ River. Thanks to its strategic location near the Hungarian border crossing, it is an ideal stop for travelers heading to Budapest, which is only about 80 km away. The surroundings offer rich opportunities for relaxation and tourism – the famous spa towns of Dudince and Santovka with healing mineral water are nearby, as well as popular swimming pools such as Margita-Ilona or Kemence.

For fans of active relaxation, we offer kayaking on the Ipeľ River, including the option to arrange organized rafting trips. The area is also rich in historical monuments and natural attractions, such as the ruins of Čabráď and Drégelyvár castles with stunning views, the Roman baths in Dudince, the unique Tesárska Gorge, or the rock dwellings in Brhlovce.

We offer accommodation in spacious, high-standard apartment rooms consisting of a bedroom area and a private bathroom. We also provide large-capacity accommodation with 11 separate beds, which is popular during the summer months especially for motorcyclists, cyclists, school groups, or larger parties for birthday celebrations and events.

Guests can enjoy secure parking directly within the premises, protected by a camera system. During the summer season, a swimming pool is available, along with facilities for grilling, roasting, or cooking traditional goulash in the garden. Relaxing on the lawn under sunshades or refreshing yourself in our restaurant offers a pleasant experience. For all our guests, we provide full-day dining options directly on-site.
