Makkoshotyka is a hidden gem in a small valley of the Zemplén Mountains. This is also where our guest house got its name.
It is a perfect place to relax and recharge in this everyday rushing world.
The Tölgyes-völgy Guesthouse awaits its guests with a fully equipped kitchen and two bedrooms. There is also a pull-out corner chair in the living room. So it provides comfortable rest for 6 people.
Sipping a coffee on the huge terrace next to the chirping of the waking birds and planning the day is a great way to start the day. With the filagoria in the garden, a place for bacon and hot pot, as well as a sandbox, darts, football, etc. for children. offers opportunities for recreation for all ages. Not to mention the wonderful view of the mountains.
The guest house is independent, reserved only for guests (the owner does not live here).
There is a lot to see in the area. Among other things, the wonderful forest locations on the national blue hiking route. In the town of Sárospatak, which is 6 km away, there is the Betyár riding stable for horse riding lovers, as well as the Rákóczi castle and the Végardó spa. The Megyer-hegy sea view, where the country's fourth Via Ferrata track is located, or even the rows of cellars in the neighboring village, with more and more delicious wines. Worth mentioning is the town of Sátoraljaújhely, a little further away (16 km), where it is worth visiting the Kazinczy Museum and visiting the Smaragdvölgy recreation park or the Zempléni Adventure Park, where the country's longest bobsleigh track is located. And, of course, there are many more things to see.
