Zselic Szíve Parasztház Simonfa

The Cottage of Zselic's Heart is the newly born Zselic Cottage, it is 6 miles away from Kaposvar and it is located in Simonfa, on the top of the hill. Simonfa is famous of its natural beauty. There are 2 main hiking trails located in the village one of them is called the Rockenbauer Pál South-Blue Trail and the other is the "Four Trees" trail witch is coloured in green. The village is very calm and clean, from both ways it is very approachable by public transport.

There is a small shop in the village, where you can find anything and it is operating as a pub too. In the nearby church every Sunday there is a ceremony, you can also find an 88 years old stone cross statue around the church as well as a memorable table for the people who had lost their lifes in the II. World War.
Around the area you can hike, fish, picking mushroom, and of course enjoy the nature. In August you can observe the beautiful falling stars on the sky, around September you can hear the red deers mating.

Not long time ago the 26 people accomodating house was a great advanture for youngsters and grown ups to getting in touch with nature.
Since 2018 this building has been referbushied and beautifully re-designed for the 21 th century's standards. This cottage built in 1900 and it has been protected as a monument as it has its unique historical features. The walls are wide so thers is no need for air conditioning during the summer the rooms are very cool also the nearby forest gives its fress air too.

The Roe Deer Aprartment is a 18 m2 room with a double bed with its own bathroom. The room is well equiped and the bed is very stable and comfortable. The heating is provided by a norvegian radiator.

The Red Deer Apartment is a 22 m2 en-suite room with a double bed. The view from this room is looking straight to the forset. There is a classic wood burner in this apartment, this is not just a nice decoration, we can fire it up upon request.

From 2021 our B&B has been extended with an outdoor hot tub. You can add this service to your booking upon chek out.
