Castle Apartments Budapest

The Castle Apartments are located at the wall of the Castle. Therefore, the PRESTIGE and DELUXE apartments give full panorama to the Parliament, Danube and to the Chain Bridge. The CLASSIC and SUPERIOR Castle Apartments have a view to the historical street of the Castle, the Tárnok street. The garden of the Deluxe Castle Apartment which is the only private garden in the area. It is great for a grill or barbecue party and to enjoy the spectacular view. Also, the Panorama Castle Sauna is found in this garden, which is a private sauna outside. This special sauna can only be used by the guests of the Deluxe Apartment.

The streets in this area are covered with cobble stones, creating an old-fashion look and atmosphere. There is nothing to worry about when it comes to the noise in this area, as there is a restricted amount of cars who can enter to this historical district. Because these streets are part of the World Heritage, the buildings look the same as before. They cannot be modified, and this gives the best authenticity to the district. Time stops here. The main entrance of the apartment is a couple hundred-year-old wood door which is followed by the main corridor where our guests can see the history of the apartment. There are plans and pictures of the construction work on special wall glasses that are on the wall of the corridor. Therefore, the guests can track the changes of the apartments.

Tourists who would like to enjoy the Hungarian specialties, found their paradise. In the Castle District, there are some great Hungarian restaurants, bistros and sweet shops. In front of the apartment, there is the Buda Castle Bistro which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. A few streets from the apartment, next to the Matthias Church one of our favorite restaurant the Ramazuri Bistronomy is located. They offer traditional Hungarian dishes with a little twist. On the same street, the most famous sweet-shop in Budapest can be found. Every piece of dessert that comes out of the kitchen is based on the 200 years of experience. They became famous by re-inventing the french pastry. In this store it is called the Ruswurm French Pastry. It is a simple, there is not any secret behind it but this is exactly what makes it outstanding from the other desserts. All of the apartments’ kitchen is well equipped therefore if someone like to cook, the ingredients can be easily bought from the local store, Príma which is a few minutes walk from the apartment.
