Description of the accommodation:

Gyékényes guest house, on the shore of the mine lake (20 meters). With a private pier and lakeside terrace. Free WIFI and Netflix, Smart Tv. Gyékényes is one of the cleanest lakes in Hungary, the visibility underwater can reach up to 3-8 meters.
With an outdoor grill and private ping pong table.

Winterized in 2021. Insulated glazed windows and doors. Upstairs Cooler-Heater air conditioning, downstairs fireplace and electric movable heater. Large and powerful towel dryer in the bathroom.

Gyékényes is located on the southern border of Somogy, close to Croatia. Part of the Danube-Drava National Park. One of the most beautiful parts of Gyékényes is the lake, better known as Kotró, which belongs to the landscape protection area. The clean, azure water surface is an imposing spot in the area. The lake is on average six meters, but in some places, thirty meters is not uncommon either. Gyékényes has become one of the favourite places for fishers and scuba-divers.
You are allowed to bring a single small animal weighing up to 6 kg, but please note that there is no fence available.

    "A Tóparti elnevezés téves, nem a tóparton van, pedig itt az a lényeg, hogy közvetlen vízpartiak a nyaralók. Nem volt tiszta, pókok ültek a sarokban. A foglalót nem kaptuk vissza, nem kaptam papírt róla, hogy mit fizettem be így be se tudtam bizonyítani. Egyik nap elkellett hagynunk a szállást ellenőrzés miatt, a gyereknek pont alvásideje volt, meg lett igérve, hogy a napi díjat aznapra visszafizeti.. A felét fizette vissza nagy nehezen. Sokkal jobb szállások vannak a közelben!!! Ne ezt válasszátok, olcsóbbak is."

    "Nagyon kedvesek a szállásadók, minden olyan vagy még szebb, jobb, mint a leírásban, képeken. Kényelmes az ágy, minden tiszta, hangulatos. Ha tehettük volna még maradtunk volna pár napig. A környék csendes, nyugodt, minden ami fontos közel van. A cserépkályha Nagyon hangulatos volt! És a karácsonyi fények, díszítés! Ezúton is köszönjük mégegyszer!"
