The tent is inside in the wooden house. The tent has different kitchen and bathroom as the wooden house. The tent has mosquito net.
This part of Dunabogdany is full of holiday cottages. We do not live here but stay frequently in a different wooden house. Please book the accomodation 2 days before the actual arrival.

About our glamping

2x 20 sqm canvas -Travel to India and Travel To Persia tent(inside in the wooden house) for nature lovers 15 minutes walk from the bank of Danube river and the downtown of Dunabogdany.
Open from May 15-September 30.

Nature lovers, sport fans family friendly accomodation with several possibilities of indor and outdoor activity. The place has no noise and airpollution (as in the city of Budapest) and only 40 minutes by bus for Szentendre HEV station or 1 hour from the downtown by direct bus( from Újpest Underground station) Frequent connection.

The property and tents are non-smoking.

Bicycle parking facilities, direct route from Budapest. Free car parking in front of the house.

We do not eat animals as we love them and have bio garden so vegas and vegans welcome. Animals friendly accomodation (lakes, bird and bat houses, hedgehogs shelters and bee houses can be found the the garden) The garden was bult in the 1976 so you can see 40 years old trees like in the forest.

We do not used any materials coming from animals during the constraction and decoration (except carpets)
We equipped the camp with low energy consumpton led lamps, A+ ++refrigerators and low consumption shower heads.
We use only bio chemicals for dishwashing and shower (please use only the supplied by the accomodation)
Fully equipped kitchen. Free cofee, tea. Fresh bed linen and towels. Books and maps in several languagages.

Independent safes per tent for your personal valuable things.

Free bottle of wine.

Hungary is not only Budapest although the old city is beautifull the countryside is worth visiting around Budapest.
On reguest we help you to set up your plan to spend your leisure time in the most effective way. If I know your needs and interests we can suggest what to see and do during your stay in Hungary. As I am official mountaneering and city tour guide we can guide you in Budapest and around on request. We can organize trekking(to the see the magnificant wiew of Danuce curve) bike, canoe trips or other outdoor sports you are interested.

What to see and do

The tiny camp is situated 25 km from Budapest in the hug of Danuce River wich is called magnificent Danube Curve and the foot of the Visegradi Mountains. This countryside called danube Curve (Dunakanyar) is one the most visited region by Hungarians as coming from Budapest you can visit Szentedre ( serb ortodox city), Visegrád (medivial royal castle) and Esztergom (the largest catholic cathedral in Hungary called Esztergom Basilica) which all situated along the Danuce river. Dunabogdány is small town with German minority.

Forgó restaurant situated neat the sandy beach is very famous.
