Hotel Csillag Rakamaz-Tokaj

HOTEL
Our hotel is located on the Rakamaz side of the Tisza, directly at the foot of the Queen Elizabeth Bridge, in a picturesque setting, from where you can walk across the bridge to the pedestrian street and downtown Tokaj. Our guests can enjoy the stunning river views on the new waterfront promenade and the resting places created there.

Originally built as a pioneer camp in the 1980s, the accommodation has functioned as a tourist hotel in recent years. The main scope of our company's activities is accommodation and related additional services, such as providing meals, kayak and canoe rental, bicycle rental, motorboat rental and cruises on the Bodrog and Tisza.

We offered our services mainly to children, school and youth groups, and water tour teams, but in recent years, due to the expansion of Tokaj-Hegyalja tourism and the ongoing developments and expansion of the program offer, there has been a demand for these services from adults as well. The tourist house, as an accommodation option, could no longer satisfy these needs, so we decided to carry out a complete renovation and reconstruction in order to achieve a higher level of comfort.

ROOMS
We modernized the building and raised it by one more level, so a total of 29 double rooms (one suitable for people with disabilities) and 1 two-room family room were created with a private shower, minibar, room safe and LCD TV, with rooms overlooking the river or the landscaped courtyard, with a terrace on the ground floor and a French balcony on the upper floor.
In addition, in a separate building, 2 3-person and 2 4-person apartments (with extra beds) are available for our family guests.

WELLNESS
Star wellness island
In the spring of 2025, our hotel's wellness services will open to our guests, including our Panorama sauna and premium jacuzzi island, which will pamper our guests all year round.
Part of the "island" is a relaxing garden, where sunbeds are available for those who want to relax - after a soak or a jacuzzi.
From our spacious sauna, you can see the fabulous confluence of the Bodrog and Tisza rivers, with the Tokaji Mountains in the background. The sauna is also suitable for holding various seances.
Part of the island is a 7-person Elbrus Life type premium jacuzzi, which provides the best massage experience for those who want to relax.

Y Beach pool
The beach pool and sun terrace opposite the mouth of the Bodrog and Tisza rivers, which we have longed for, will open its doors to our guests in early June 2025.
The pool is 12*6 meters, from which you can enjoy an excellent panorama of the city center of Tokaj and the confluence of the rivers, and there are numerous sun loungers and garden furniture around it for comfortable relaxation.
The outdoor pool is open seasonally from mid-spring to mid-September, during opening hours.

RESTAURANT
Our guests can enjoy their breakfast comfortably in our hotel restaurant, which we offer on our buffet. If required, the room is also an ideal location for training, meetings or private events.

The Halra Bor Restaurant is also located in our neighborhood, where our guests can enjoy regional, reform and traditional dishes and fish dishes made from local producers and native fish.

INFORMATION
In the hotel courtyard, under the filagory on the bank of the Tisza, there is the possibility of outdoor cooking, grilling, and cauldron making. We provide the equipment and fuel for this.

Also on the waterfront, in an area separated from it by a fence, a large, sandy playground can provide great joy for those arriving with children.

There is the possibility of kayaking, canoeing, bicycle rental, kite surfing, motorboat rental, and cruises on the Tisza and Bodrog.

Wine lovers can participate in a wine dinner led by wine knight László Király in the Prés Wine Bar. More information about the above program options can be found under the “Programs” tab.

The special feature of the hotel is that it is also accessible from the Tisza, with mooring provided at river kilometer 544. Mooring fee: 3,000 HUF/boat/night. The port is not guarded, but is constantly monitored by cameras.
