One of the main, traditional Hungarian hotel chains, with 28 hotels in the most important holiday resorts and spas of the country. Hunguest Hotels opened its newest 4 star hotel on 1st July 2003 in Tapolca.

Tapolca:

Tapolca is a small Hungarian town with charm, rich cultural and natural attractions. Its name comes from the Slavic language and means „hot water”. It is located 100 km from the Austrian border, 15 km from the Northern bank of Lake Balaton and 187 km from Budapest. Under the town, there is a medicinal grotto and a rich thermal water spring.

The hotel is situated in a large park (4 hectares), directly over the grotto, with own thermal water spring, near to the town center, however in a calm area.

"Reception personell would definetly need to go through a how to treat customers well training. no smile nor a nice welcome. like: "Welcome to the Hunguest Hotel Pelion, we are happy to have you as our guest". our welcome was: you only stay one nightjQuery31109832080380149459_1500276630482?? Not what we were expecting from a Hunguest Hotel. Then we were a family with two children, and additional bed was squezed into the room, fine but then not even a 4th towers was available. in addition when i asked for a pool towel, I got two as they dont hand pool towels for kids. Redicilous as children will be your future customers. Another little thing was that we got 0.5l bottle of free water as a present for a family of 4. Water does nto cost much and if you offer then please offer it right or dont even bother offering. So the Hotel is quite good but these little things just make is not as good as it could be. Simple things to change to give your customers a better experience."
