Rákóczi Hotel*** is located in a quiet, green area of Sátoraljaújhely, nestled on the saddle of Várhegy, far from the noise of the city, on an 8-hectare partly ancient wooded area. It is a perfect choice for those seeking peaceful relaxation, fresh air, and nature-filled experiences.

The air-conditioned rooms of the hotel offer comfortable accommodation: each unit features a private bathroom with a shower, flat-screen TV, in-room safe, bed linen, towels, and a hairdryer.

Guests can start their day with a generous buffet breakfast in our Panoráma Restaurant. Upon request, we also offer buffet dinner as part of a half-board package. From the restaurant and its terrace, guests can enjoy a breathtaking panorama that enhances any moment of the day. Our à la carte menu is available daily between 12:00 and 20:00. In addition to the restaurant, there is a separate bar open from 10:00 to 22:00, offering a pleasant setting for enjoying a drink or having a relaxing conversation.

For guests arriving by car, we offer a secure, free parking area, monitored 24/7 along with the entire hotel premises by our front desk service.

Thanks to the hotel’s central location, the attractions of the Zemplén region are easily accessible. The Bridge of National Unity, for example, is within walking distance. For an additional fee, we can also provide transfers for small and large groups to visit attractions such as the recently renovated Füzérradvány Castle, the Füzér Castle atop a volcanic hill, or the wine cellars of Hercegkút, which are part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

Relaxation and rejuvenation are further enhanced by our wellness area, where guests can enjoy a jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, and plunge pool. During the summer months, a large outdoor swimming pool with an infinity edge is also available, ideal for refreshing dips. Our rates include the use of wellness services, except for the jacuzzi. For hygiene reasons, the jacuzzi is cleaned and refilled after each use. The fee for this is HUF 5,200 per person or HUF 26,200 per group (up to 7 people).

Active recreation is supported by a 1,600 m² indoor sports hall with a 500-seat gallery, an artificial turf football pitch, a tartan-surfaced court, and a beach volleyball court. These facilities can be used for an additional fee and require prior reservation.

The hotel is also an excellent venue for corporate events, weddings, and family gatherings. Our modern conference room, the Panoráma Restaurant, the Pavilon Dining Hall, the Kultúrcsűr (Cultural Barn), and a forest chapel are available for both small and large groups. Use of these venues must be arranged in advance.
