The WoodHouse Nagymaros

Our guest house is located in Nagymaros, one of the most beautiful settlements on the Danube Bend.
It was not named The WoodHouse by chance. Our forest house is covered with wood both inside and outside. If you look out of any window, you will see trees everywhere. Only you and nature, no immediate neighbors! The shrubby, wooded area begins next to the house, and you'll find yourself in the forest after a 5-minute walk! Take a long hike in the fresh, forest air. Visit nearby lakes, springs, and viewpoints.
With us, everything is provided for real rest and relaxation!
The nearly 1,000 square meter garden of our guest house is made really cozy by a multitude of diverse plants and chirping birds. You can enjoy the sun lying on a blanket on a grassy hillside. Birch trees provide shade for reading. Cool off in the heat in our hot tub, and in the winter enjoy the soothing effect of the heated water. Watching the starry sky next to a campfire is priceless.

Our hot tub filled with Parajdi salt provides real physical and mental refreshment! Enjoy the beneficial effects of salt containing 84 types of minerals.
Many physiological effects of salt bathing are known, for example it helps
- asthma, respiratory diseases, tracheitis
- gynecological problems, inflammations, bone diseases
- muscle contusion, muscle atrophy, muscle spasm
in healing. It has a detoxifying effect.
Tariff:
From June 1 to september 30, it can be used indefinitely FREE of charge. The use of the hot tub is optional from October 1 to May 31, with a daily FEE of HUF 10,000.
It is the responsibility of the guest to heat up the kettle, for which we of course provide all the tools.

A few minutes' drive away, you will find yourself on the banks of the Danube, where you can rent kayaks, canoes, e-bikes, or even go to the beach in the cooling waters of the Danube. You can enjoy the incomparable view while driving along the Danube on a built-up bicycle path. Take a boat to Visegrad, Zebegény, Esztergom. Visit Vác or take a hike in Börzsöny, for example for the fantastic view to the Julian lookout or Nagy Hideg-hegy. In Királyrét, Nagybörzsöny you can take the light rail. Törökmeze petting zoo is also a great experience for children. For gourmets, we recommend the farmers' market in Nagymaros and Verőce.

The center is a 5-minute drive from the guest house, where there is a grocery store, pharmacy, greengrocer, organic store, butcher, ATM, post office, and bakery.
Nagymaros is located 50 kilometers from Budapest, which can be reached in a short time on the M2 highway.
Our guest house is easily accessible by public transport. In Budapest, we are only 5 minutes and 4 stops away from Nyugati railway station by train and 5 minutes by bus. The property is located 250 meters from the bus stop.

The tourist tax fee for people over 18 is HUF 700/person/night, which must be paid on site.
